DennyTips is a completely free tipping solution for both businesses and their employees. There is no setup fee or monthly fee. There are no fixed-term contracts. If something doesn't work out - you can cancel our services at any time.

Are tips taxable?

Tips are classified as taxable income and may be subject to personal income tax in accordance with the laws of the employee’s country of residence. Neither the restaurant nor DennyPay is responsible for declaring these earnings on behalf of the employee. Each employee is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations. Upon request, UAB DennyPay may assist employees with reporting obligations, but the responsibility remains with the employee.

Does the company's accounting department need to keep records of tips collected on the DennyTips platform?

There is no additional work for the company’s accounting. Tips are transferred to UAB DennyPay’s account and then paid directly to employees’ bank accounts. UAB DennyPay handles the technical processing of payments, while each employee is individually responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes in accordance with the laws of their country.
